Tampere Rap Academy and Pirkanmaa Music Institute join forces! At the gig, you will hear how the raps and beats of emerging rap artists and producers combine with the live playing of PMO's young musicians. In addition, during the evening, you will hear classics of African-American rhythm music performed by PMO's bands. See you at the gig! Tickets €7 at the door.
Doors at 6:30 PM, showtime at 7 PM.
Tampere Rap Academy is an expert collective whose activities combine hip hop culture, pedagogy and special expertise in the social field. The Rap Academy's activities are based on elements of cultural well-being, which strengthen, among other things, inclusion and community. The Academy is responsible for the activities of the Voionmaa College's rap line, and the concert will feature students from the line.
Pirkanmaa College of Music has been the first music college in Finland to offer electronic music production education since 2024. Rap is strongly present in the patterns, and the concert will feature several new songs produced by PMO students.
